Company Profile
Ag Training was formed in April 2005 to service the need for trained people wanting to work in the Agricultural industry.
We became a Nationally Recognised RTO (Registered Training Organisation) in December 2005, delivering a Certificate III in Agriculture - RTE Course Code 30103 Skills Set in Machinery Operation and Maintenance.
In 2006 we trained people from a number of countries throughout the world in our Combine Harvesting School. The course they completed is known as, "Machinery Operation & Maintenance" which consists of seven units from the Certificate III in Agriculture qualification. This course provides participants with the appropriate knowledge to maintain and operate a Combine Harvester.
The outcomes have been very pleasing in a number of ways:-
When harvest started, the course participants were much more competent in handling the machines. This gave them confidence which in turn increased productivity.
The operators were very safety conscious and aware of dangerous situations.
There were NO machinery accidents or injuries incurred by any of the Ag Training Course Participants.
The course participants enjoyed the harvest experience because they knew what to do and how to do it.
In 2007 we expanded into training participants in
- Hay Baling
- GPS
- Control Traffic Farming
- Tractor Operation
- Load Shifting Equipment
90% of course participants are placed.
Ag Training is proud to now offer its training participants the opportunity to participate in a range of loadshifting training courses that provides successful participants with a Workplace Health and Safety license.
