Ag Training offers Australian and New Zealand citizens the option of completing a full Certificate III in Agriculture, skills set in machinery operation and maintenance.
This is a nationally recognised qualification for people in the rural industry with some expertise who want to develop advanced technical and mechanical skills. It also provides the underpinning knowledge required to apply these skills in the workplace.
This course is also suitable for owners of rural operations who want to enhance their technical knowledge and skills. It is also suitable for people with some expertise who want to enter the rural industry.
Participants will learn how to organise and coordinate the procedures that employees in the rural industries must carry out as well as learning technical skills that an employee involved in a rural enterprise should possess. Participants will also be able to apply occupational health, safe working practices and quality assurance practices to industry standards.
