RTC2705A : Work Effectively in the Industry

Course Description :

This competency standard covers the process of working effectively individually and in a team.

It requires the ability to obtain information about the agricultural industry, follow requirements of your employment, accept responsibility for your work, maintain safety at all times and follow work schedules.

To achieve competency participants must be able to demonstrate all the skills mentioned above as well as:

• show their understanding of workplace awards / conditions
• acknowledge employer’s expectations
• understand relevant legislation
• have a knowledge of Occupation Health and Safety policies
• have a knowledge of current workplace policies
• know emergency procedures and understand workplace communication
